| The Placement Test The aim of this test is not to diagnose specific spelling skills but to determine the most appropriate diagnostic test for the user to attempt. If the user was to complete the Placement Test they would be presented with fifty words. Each word which is chosen randomly has five equivalent words - hence there is a database of two hundred and fifty words, sentences and photographs. There are facilities for the user to repeat the spoken word or sentence before they type in the word.
