| Diagnostic Test 1. Diagnostic Test 1 contains fifty test words. Each word is chosen randomly and has five equivalent words - hence there is a database of two hundred and fifty words, sentences and photographs. The aim of this test is to establish the user's competence level on these spelling skills - regular consonant /short vowel /regular consonant words, initial and final consonant blends, consonant digraphs, digraph-consonant blends, double consonants, forming plurals and simple multisyllabic words. There are facilities to repeat the spoken word or sentence before they type in the word.
